Meet Jess

Hey y’all, I’m Jess! I’m a sophomore Journalism student at the University of Texas where I’m building on my passion for all things media, whether it’s editing videos on Final Cut Pro or conducting interviews. Here are a few other things I love: all things Texas (yeehaw!), the color pink, Bevo, my Passion Planner, hot chocolate & my faith.

When I was a freshman in high school, I launched my YouTube channel: All That Jess. (I made my first ever video for a biology project, where I learned that editing is super fun!) Not counting my adorable dogs Sadie and Roxy, I grew up as an only child. So, I looked up to the older girls I watched on Youtube, their advice guiding me as I learned about everything from makeup application to college applications.

​I want to use this blog and my Youtube channel to return the favor. Not only is this blog a place to expand my platform and share my life experiences, but my hope is that my slice-of-life posts will inspire other girls to find their inner #girlboss.
